On a quiet Sunday evening at 'The Managers Adda' Puneet Sahani talked to a bunch of students regarding his love of hitchhiking. Born in Punjab, being an adventurous soul throughout his life, he quit his job in 2009, took a bag-pack and just went on the road without any destination in his mind. Since then he has hitchhiked over 21 countries in Europe, authored a book named My world through areolas and is currently writing a thesis.A hell of a life for sure.
This is what we recall from our conversation at TMA :-
Do not compromise on your happiness. If you don’t derive happiness from what you are doing or the relationships you are in, then move on.
The road has taught him to lead a sustainable life and only take what is needed to survive.
Do not look at the end result and the purpose for doing things. Enjoy the process of getting there.
He questions the present day societal construct that does not encourage people to go against established beliefs and encourages people to rebel against them.
Experiencing nature and wilderness has been a gratifying experience.

Question everything in your life, including your strongest beliefs; that is what will lead to your progress as a human.
Hitch-hiking with a pure wanderlust makes you stop judging people and events; ushers in a more unbiased and wholesome view of life in you.

Just keep doing what you love for that's the best way to be happy
A rebellion within you leads to your dream, so always listen to that. You will live according to your terms and condition.
The interaction certainly has helped us to look at the 'paths' of our lives surely in a different manner. We at TMA look forward to take up such unknown path in our future. It reminds us of the Robert Frost poem. What a way to kick-off the proceedings at TMA !! An amazing 30 minutes with Puneet Sahani. Thank You. Follow him at twitter @puneet_sahani
See you soon !!
